Transform your holiday appetizer spread with this showstopping pumpkin-shaped cheese ball that perfectly balances smokey, sweet, and savory flavors.

Ingredients

  • 2 packages (8 oz each) cream cheese, softened
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • Fresh chives, chopped
  • 1 brick sharp cheddar cheese, freshly shredded (divide in half)
  • 1 brick smoked Gouda, freshly shredded (reserve 1/4 for coating)
  • 1 package instant bacon (reserve 1/4 for coating)
  • 1 small pumpkin or squash stem for garnish

    In a large bowl, combine softened cream cheese, Brothers All Natural Fuji Apple Fruit Crisps, and honey.

    Add chopped chives, half the shredded cheddar, 3/4 of the shredded Gouda, and 3/4 of the crumbled bacon.

    Fold ingredients together until thoroughly blended.

    Form mixture into a ball shape.

    Combine reserved cheddar, Gouda, and bacon. Coat the outside of the cheese ball with this mixture.

    Coat the outside of the cheese ball with this mixture. Wrap kitchen string around the ball to create pumpkin ridges. Refrigerate until firm (at least 2 hours).

    Before serving, carefully remove wrap and string. Insert pumpkin or squash stem on top for authentic finish.
