Asian Pear Butter Glaze is warm, packed with sweet freeze-dried pears, and is a game changer for your favorite meats. Perfect for the upcoming holidays!

Ingredients

  • 4 cups Asian Pear Fruit Crisps, crushed
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 1/2 cup bourbon
  • 1 teaspoon ground cardamom
  • Juice of 2 lemons (save the rinds for the meat)

Instructions

    Combine pears and slowly add water to create a pear sauce. (Think applesauce consistency - amount of water will vary).

    Combine the pear sauce, sugar, bourbon, cardamom and lemon juice in a saucepan and cook, stirring constantly, until it reduces by half (about 25-30 minutes).

    Top your favorite meat generously with the glaze - chicken, turkey, anything will do!
